Dear FBC Church Family,

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much the leadership of the Friendship Baptist Church appreciate your support, prayers, and patience during this unprecedented time. Little did we realize how long this process would take when we ceased our morning worship services and regular church gatherings.  As you can imagine, the task of reopening our church for services once again will take a lot more prayer, thought, and effort than it did to close things down.  Enclosed, you will find the Phases of the "Re-Opening Church Plan" we will be implementing here at the Friendship Baptist Church. We do understand that several things will be different than before, but we do trust and pray any changes just may be temporary. This "New Normal" is also a great moment for us to embrace change and continue to do church differently.

Our desire from the very beginning has been to ensure the health and safety of our members and attendees. This sentiment will continue to be the case as we move forward.  As we begin to implement this plan here at the Friendship Baptist Church, we would prayerfully make one main request. We want to encourage each attendee to continue to practice social distancing.  While we may have some challenges ahead, I believe with all my heart that we are up for the task because as Believers, we are Family. And, always remember Together we are Better!

While all of us might honestly say that our patience is wearing a bit thin, I would encourage you to keep your confidence in the Lord as we continue to navigate through these uncertain times. Use these days to draw closer to the Lord, and I know He is clear in the Word that He will draw near to us!  Please go over the enclosed guidelines and Phases of "The Re-opening of the Church" building. We will do our best to worship together again in a way that brings Glory to God and encouragement to this Body of Believers. And, I might add, our primary goal is that we would see souls won into the Kingdom of God!
